Graduation Day
Colin’s last day of preschool was last Friday and they had a little graduation ceremony. Of course Colin got to go first, somehow he is always going first. Holden thought he was part of the show so he walked right up and stood with Colin. Holden pretty much thinks Colin’s school is also his school. Then the next day, his actual last day of school, they had a big picnic in a park near here called Carkeek Park. It was a beautiful day (we have had a week of perfect days, sunny 70s). There was entertainment, face painting, magician, parachutes, butterfly release, pinatas – not to mention it was also on the beach. We were there for 5 hours, Holden missed his nap and everything, but it was so much fun.
Colin did graduate, however he still has one more year of preschool before Kindergarten. He is starting Jumpstart in the fall and he is looking forward to that!
wow- that was quite the celebration for pre-school! i think that was a bigger deal than our U of M ceremony! Except for the keg of Oberon of course.
