Baby #2 vs Colin
We took a picture to do a side by side comparison between this pregnancy and Colin. Same shirt, same pose, same place - although it is FREEZING out there. Here are the results - the first picture with snow is now, second is pregnant with Colin:
I feel a bit more “compact” with this baby. Looking back I seem a bit rough around the edges there at 35 weeks with Colin. I haven’t gained as much weight with this baby and I started out a good 6-7 pounds heavier…must be all that running around with Colin and the fact that no longer work in a office surrounded by candy and fast food all day. That definitely helps.
The girl/boy debate is still going strong. Colin had convinced me it was a girl because he always insists he is having a baby sister. However yesterday he told a guy at Trader Joe’s that he was having a baby brother and I had a dream it was a boy…we shall see in a few short (or long as the case may be…) weeks.
Ha, I’ve been waiting for Jess to post so I could comment and prove that nobody is favoring Chuck’s posts.
What really strikes me about those photos, Jess, is that motherhood hasn’t aged you a bit. (Meanwhile, I’ve given up on tweezing out my gray hairs one by one because it’d take me about six hundred years.) My bet is on a girl. Not sure why, just a feeling.
