Halloween - Hans and Franz
A while back my mom had bought Colin a totally grey sweatsuit - plain grey, top and bottom. We put it on him and he looked like Hans. We joked about it all the time and then when Halloween came up we thought we might as well use what we had. I went and bought Chuck a truly ugly grey sweatsuit (which he is never allowed to wear again - although I am currently wearing the top :). Together they were Hans and Franz - they looked great and Colin could even say “Pump you up” - of course when people asked him what he was going to be for Halloween he just stared at them blankly. Whenever you say Halloween to him he says “Trick or treat - M&M’s”

I love high concept costumes. Hans and Franz was brilliant! Any SNL skit from the 80’s and 90’s reminds me of Chuck! “Remember to keep your feet on the ground and your shoulders somewhere beneath your head.” Frankenstein singing happy holidays, “ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”, “choppin broccolli, chop (huh) brocolayyyyy”.
Next year you both could go as Wayne and Garth.
A formal thankyou for your package is on the way. For the first time in my life i don’t feel guilty for eating so much cheese-biscuity goodness!

These pictures made me miss fall in Michigan. Enjoy the crispness, the leaves changing colors, the apple cider, the cinnamon-dusted donuts. It’s just rain, rain, rain, rain, rain back here in Seattle.
I’m going to be missing Seattle as soon as the temperature drops to 20 and the snow starts to fall.
